How can the Cluj Metropolitan Area become ‘greener’?
The Centre for Regional Geography is hosting a new edition of the CGR Meetings, an event dedicated to anyone interested in territorial development issues.
This edition’s guests, Adrian Răulea (Programme Director) and Alexandrina Kiss (Manager of Strategy and Development Department) from the Cluj Metropolitan Area Intercommunity Development Association, will deliver a presentation on the topic Strategy for the Cluj Metropolitan Green-Blue Network: The Green Belt and Ecological Corridors. This will address the strategic direction of developing coherent green and blue infrastructure at metropolitan level, emphasising the role of green belts and ecological corridors in increasing territorial resilience and quality of life. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
The event will take place at the Centre for Regional Geography (5-7 Clinicilor Street, Cluj-Napoca) on 2 April 2026 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
