Doing School Differently at …. the Center for Regional Geography
In December 2024, students from “George Coşbuc” National College in Cluj-Napoca visited the Centre for Regional Geography in the framework of the “School Differently” programme, accompanied by their geography teachers. During the two meetings, on the 16th and the 18th of December, the students received information about the role of drones in monitoring geographical phenomena. They also familiarised themselves with the characteristics of drones belonging to the Centre for Regional Geography, and learned useful information for potential drone pilots. Furthermore, each student had the opportunity to test the functionality of drones through participation in a simulated drone flight.
