The Centre for Regional Geography at the European Researchers’ Night 2023
The second edition of the European Researchers’ Night took place on 29 September 2023, between 1:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The event was organized as one of the main activities of the Science4Future-II project, funded by the Horizon Europe programme. The event, which promotes the popularization of research, innovation and technology transfer activities among the general public, took place simultaneously in more than 400 European cities, including five cities in Romania: Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Bistrița, Sighetu Marmației and Gheorgheni.
The Centre for Regional Geography also participated in this year’s edition, which was held in Cluj-Napoca on the plateau next to the “Horia Demian” Sports Hall, together with representatives of other research centres, higher education institutions, pre-university education institutions and centres, local and county administrations, economic units, associations and NGOs. During the event, participants of all ages discussed with the researchers present and participated in various activities proposed by the organizers and their partners.
