New Research Directions in the Private Insurance Sector

Starting from the testing of several research hypotheses on how the density of private health insurance in Europe is influenced, Associate Professor Codruța Mare, PhD, the guest of the CGR Meetings in November 2020, presented as partial results of the project a trend of clustering of the private health insurance sector from east to west. The impact of health insurance, accompanied by that of other types of insurance (agricultural, housing, mandatory car insurance, etc.), is the challenge launched by the project PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2019-0554 – Study of Romanian life insurances in international context: innovation, spatial and behavioural modelling; impact of institutional factors, coordinated by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Babeş-Bolyai University.
