Integrating Cultural Heritage into Spatial Planning: A Debate at the Centre for Regional Geography

The CGR Meetings, organised by the Centre for Regional Geography, will continue in June 2026 with a new edition dedicated to interdisciplinary dialogue between geography, archaeology and spatial planning.

This edition’s guest speaker is Dr Csók Zsolt, an archaeology expert at the National Museum of Transylvanian History in Cluj-Napoca. He is also a certified specialist accredited by the Romanian Register of Urban Planners and has experience in researching and promoting cultural heritage.

The lecture, titled ‘Cultural Heritage and Spatial Planning Tools’, will address the role of cultural heritage in spatial planning processes. There will also be an interactive Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with the guest speaker on topics of interest.

The meeting will take place at the Centre for Regional Geography (5–7 Clinicilor Street, Cluj-Napoca) on 30 June 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
