Practical Training for the Undergraduate Students in Territorial Planning at the Faculty of Geography

Between the 27th of April and the 2nd of May 2015, the second-year students in Territorial Planning at the Faculty of Geography, Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, together with a team of young researchers and teaching staff members of the Centre for Regional Geography, had their specialty practical training in the Land of Haţeg, Romania. The aim of the practical training was to apply their basics and specialist knowledge required for spatial planners and work on the elaboration of a spatial plan using specific research methods. The practical training included the elaboration of five projects (Arrangement of the Râul Alb River Basin, Arrangement of Fundătura Ponorului, Restoration of the Royal Fortress of Haţeg, Reconstruction of the Băuţar-Subcetate Railway, Arrangement of the Village of Goteşti). The results of the five projects will be published in a volume in 2016.
