This book is the result of a practical training in territorial planning, organized in Ţinutul Pădurenilor (the District of the Forest People), and it presents resilience solutions to some challenges faced by the local community, whether we are talking about depopulation, the dilution of traditions, the decline of industrial platforms or intensive emigration of the population. Thus, the five proposed project ideas: 1. The arrangement of Lake Cinciş; 2. Forms of Perpetuating the Identity Landmarks of Poieniţa Voinii; 3. The Fate of the Marble from the Poiana Ruscă Mountains. Case studies: the Villages of Alun and Ruşchița; 4. Revitalization of the Ghelari Industrial Area, and 5. The Arrangement of the Decommissioned Blast Furnace in the village of Govăjdia, transformed into independent articles, offer viable development scenarios. They are based on a pertinent scientific argumentation, by consulting the current and relevant specialized literature for each topic, a thorough field documentation concluded by authentic data and information, but also objectives and work tools specific to a territorial planning study.
