Contemporary Developments in the Suburbs of Post-Socialist Cities
The Centre for Regional Geography is hosting a new edition of the CGR Meetings, an event dedicated to all interested in territorial development issues.
The guest of the May 2024 edition is Dr hab. Dorota Mantey, Associate Professor at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies. The topic proposed for debate is associated with the urban development specific to post-socialist cities and the phenomenon of suburbanization characteristic of large urban agglomerations. The case studies from Poland will serve as a point for discussion about similar developments associated with Romanian cities.
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Centre for Regional Geography (5-7 Clinicilor St., Cluj-Napoca), on Thursday, 30 May 2024, between 12:00 and 1:00 pm.
