The study, presented by the author as a doctoral thesis in 2017, is the result of a deeply applied and interdisciplinary research in the field of physical geography, in general, and climatology, in particular, on the one hand, and territorial planning and organization, on the other hand, and is focused on the influence of the role of meteo-climatic agents on natural vegetation and agricultural crops. Based on the many types of qualitative analysis, performed in the field, but especially quantitative analysis, performed in the laboratory (time series analysis of climate variables, satellite image analysis etc.), the author highlights the degree of damage to natural and cultivated vegetation as a result of the existence of certain meteorological situations for the chosen case studies.
