Participation in the RSA Central & Eastern Europe Conference 2017 – Regional Polarisation and Unequal Development in CEE: Challenges for Innovative Place-based Policies, 10-13 September 2017, Cluj-Napoca

At the beginning of September 2017, Babeş-Bolyai University was the host of the RSA Central & Eastern Europe Conference on Regional Polarisation and Unequal Development in CEE: Challenges for Innovative Place-based Policies. Professor József Benedek was the academic organiser of the conference. Fourteen members of the Centre for Regional Geography, namely Professor Pompei Cocean, Lecturer Nicoleta David, Associate Professor Sorin Filip, Assistant Professor Gheorghe-Gavrilă Hognogi, Associate Professor Titus Cristian Man, Lecturer Ciprian Moldovan, Lecturer Kinga Xénia Havadi-Nagy, Lecturer Lelia Papp, Research Fellow Ana-Maria Pop, Associate Professor Raularian Rusu, Associate Professor Ibolya Török, including three PhD students: Dănuţ Huciu, Júlia Nagy and Alexandra-Camelia Potra participated in the conference along with more than 160 specialists from 20 countries.
